This is the palette that started it all.

This is the palette that started it all. Part of the inspiration behind the blog name. The Sweet Palette. This eye and cheek palette was created by Tarte Cosmetics in collaboration with Aspyn Ovard. This palette was launched on May 15, and was sold for a limited time. This palette retailed for $39.00 and could be purchased on Tartecosmetics.com or at Ulta Beauty.

This Palette is the definition of sweet. The shadows smell like a cake that has just been brought out of the oven. This palette is great for an everyday basic eye look. The different colors can be blended to create a simple eye look, or full on glam. This is my current everyday palette that I use on my eyes. I do believe that you get your money's worth out of this palette. I originally purchased this in the beginning of June 2018. I have used this everyday since, and I haven't hit the bottom of the metal pans yet. The one thing I really like about this palette is that it has 6 matte shades, (if you count the blush) and 5 shimmer shades. A good palette should have a mix of matte and shimmer shades to create the perfect look. This palette also has a great color shade that you can use for different eye looks. I have noticed that I don't really get any fallout from the shadows except the Heart of Gold shade. Which you can see a little bit in the photo above. What I really love about the mirror, is that it is big, and it covers the entire top portion, so you can really see where you are applying the shadows. The only con I have with this palette is that the bottom portion (where the eyeshadows rest on) is reflective. This looks really nice against the colors, but your fingerprints and any fallout you have, tends to smudge up the reflective part. You could clean the smudges off, but I find that it takes time to get around the small shadows. The pigmentation in this palette is amazing! A little bit goes along way.

My Favorite Everyday Look:

Santorini Sands/Tea Time: Crease

Tea Time: Outer Lid

Made you Blush: Outer/Middle Lid

Brilliance: Middle/Inner Lid

Endless Summer: Inner corner of eyes

I understand that Made you blush is technically the blush color, but I really like how the color looks with the rest of the eyeshadow. This look is very simple while achieving a little bit of Glam.
